Verification of Your Identity
To process your CCPA request, we must be able to verify your identity to a reasonable degree of certainty. In order to do so, you must provide the required identifying information requested above in the “How to Submit a Data Privacy Request” section when submitting your CCPA request. Before we process your request, we will match data points you provide us with data points we currently maintain to verify your identity and your relationship with us. If we cannot verify your identity, we will not be able to process your request. If you are a visitor to our website who does not interact with us by, for example, requesting a quote we are unable to verify your identity to a reasonable degree of certainty because we do not maintain information that could reasonably be linked to you.
Authorized Agent
You can designate an authorized agent to make a CCPA request on your behalf. When you use an authorized agent to submit a request, you must provide the authorized agent with signed permission to do so, and, in certain circumstances, we may ask you to verify your own identity or confirm that you provided the authorized agent permission to submit the request directly with us. We may deny a request from an authorized agent that does not submit proof that they have been authorized by you to act on your behalf.
